Every year at Whitsun, Saint Georges abbey presents “a book in the garden”, with an exhibition and sale of books on the subject of “nature and gardening” held on the first floor of the monastic building and a second-hand book sale in the paved courtyard. While this is going on, there are various different events and exhibitions – all relating to books – open to the public.
