Employment integration project

The work contracted out on behalf of the ATAR
Every year, the Department of Seine-Maritime grants the ATAR an investment subsidy which allows the restoration of the estate to be carried out by people working on employment integration projects. The following work has been carried out in this way:

• The surrounding walls of the estate (1,500 metres) and the 47 buttresses restored to look just as they did in the 17th century.
• The coped walls of the garden terraces.
• The press barn located in the same place as the Benedictines’ own used to be.
• The restoration of the gardens to look just as they did in the 17th century.
• The creation and laying out of the scent garden.
• The reintroduction of three plots of the vineyard (1600 feet).
• Creation of a plant maze.
