The association
The Saint Georges de Boscherville Roman Abbey Tourist Association (ATAR) is an association set up on the initiative of volunteers who loved the site back in 1954. The Department of Seine Maritime owns the abbey estate, which is managed by the ATAR under the terms of a 30-year long lease which runs out in 2017.
The restoration work has been contracted out on behalf of both the DRAC (Regional Department of Cultural Affairs) and the ATAR. The most recent work was carried out by means of employment integration projects.
